A lot has been going on and I’ve made a conscious effort to be less vocal online during this period. Normal transmission shall occur.I’ll be vocal.

slacker

uncategorized

I’ve been a slacker the past week or so and have written nothing.
It’s not like there’s nothing going on, it just all needs to settle before I can write about it. I’m playing lots of sports. Going windsurfing this Tuesday.
Life’s changed a bit. It’s slow progress but I’m doing it.

La Belle Dame Sans Merci, 1819

analysis

I’m huge fan of John Keats and La Belle Dame Merci has been one of my favourites, since I was introduced to it 20 years ago.
I think what appeals to me most about this poem is the tragedy it evokes: ‘Alone and palely loitering?’ and ‘So haggard and so woe-begone’

So I’ve [...]

letting off some steam… returning to routine

personal

The mid-week wakeup
No rightful steam off-getting is without the get-away. In this case it was an awesome two bedroom apartment… Here’s them on flickr.
Don’t get me wrong, we had a great time and I really boozed-it up in a safe surrounding. I’d been debating on-and-off about drinking: abstain? regular? occasion? My current was to drink [...]

It’s not easy, is it? (“Little Britain”)

personal

Separation
After 2 years of marriage we separated yesterday. It’s been devastating and I’m at one of my lowest points, ever.
I’m taking each memory/ sad point, acknowledged it happened and move on.
Kindly, a friend has offered to take me on a bit of trip to the Sunshine Coast so tweets only for the next 2 days. [...]
